Little Snow is Better Than No Snow

Early morning sun over the Unita Mountains.
View from across a field down the road from our house. The buidling in the distance is my work. Early morning view of the Oquirrh Mountains.
Jacob this morning waiting for his bus with his new warm coat. It was a cool morning...about 10 degrees.

So we got a little bit of snow last night. When I say little I mean maybe 3 inches....far from the blizzard they were predicting. The kids are happy so I guess a little snow is better than no snow. The bad thing is it's been pretty cold and windy so it's hard for the kids to play outside for very long. I shoveled the driveway for the first time this morning. Not too bad......the problem last night was our driveway is on a hill and I couldn't get my truck up the driveway because of the ice so I had to park in the street. Anyways...get ready for the snow and cold because it's probably coming your way. Stay warm and I'll talk to you all later. As always....Love and miss everyone.

this is my first attempt at this by myself.I hope it goes through.you may not have much snow but we have all we need for a white Christmas.I am sure glad Jake is doing so good. The above comments are from Dad. We really had goofy weather the last couple of days. First it rained about 2 inches on Thursday with warnings of freezing rain followed by snow. The snow didn't begin until 4-5 a.m. on Friday and continued through the afternoon. We probably got 4-5 inches on top of all the rain that froze. All this after 6 days of 60 degree temperatures. We went out to eat Friday night after leaning the interstate 80 was at a standstill for approximately 70 miles from LaSalle to Grundy County. The snow had drifted and IDOT hadn't cleared the road. Trucks and cars had gone off the roads and many had run out of gas. Now it's getting colder so the snow will probably last until Christmas. We tried to finish up on our shopping today and picked out our live tree which will sit on the back porch for probably another week or two! We saw Lynn's blogging on to your blogg too! Hi Lynn, heard you got a lot more snow up there in Antioch! Miss you guys and hope everyone there is doing O.K.love mom me again(dad)Iam going to try to add something to our blob if I can remember how without Brians help.love dad
