The End of Turkey Weekend
The end is here. The long weekend has come to an end and back to work tomorrow. Not only will it be Monday but it will be the start of a winter storm brewing and estimated to dump lots of snow 3 days straight! We had a good holiday though....nice to see family. After a long couple of days in the hospital we were able to relax and catch up with Boyd, Della, Tiffany and Taylor. We were able to get out to Antelope Island for them to see some jackrabbits and buffalo and up to the mountains to see Robert Redfords "Sundance" Resort. The weather was perfect for sightseeing! A little cool but sunny. Della, Diana and the girls even had a chance to do a little shopping. It doesn't seem like 6 days off.....it went by so fast! I guess run, run, run will do that. So today we're doing nothing but vegging. I trying to build up the energy to put up Christmas lights while it's nice out....today might be our last nice day. Anyways....hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and hope you enjoy some of the pictures. As always....Love and miss everyone! Bye.

...well, kinda...for some reason it doesn't show that we commented (it shows '0' comments.
Maybe it's just a time delay thing, but I've never seen anything like this on the other blogsites.
We'll see???
Looks like it's workin!!!
Having some trouble because we had to sign up with a google account, not a blogger account??? It works, but it's a pain.
Oh well, I'll look into it more later, at least they are able to comment now.

I guess the snow skipped over Utah and hit the midwest. We had a lot of rain on Thursday with a weather report that the temperature would drop, the rain would freeze and the snow would begin. We had approx.4-5 inches of snow here, lots of people were without electricity, luckily we were only without the phone for a day. People were stranded on Interstate 80 from LaSalle to Grundy County. The interstate had drifted over and traffic wasn't moving plus people were running out of gas. It's really beautiful out there because the trees and bushes are all coated with ice and snow and it's not melting, but it is breaking some branches. Truman asked me the other day if Cassie and Jake would be home for Christmas and Hannah asks about Cori all the time. She wants to talk with her on the phone again. Now is Cori usually home in the afternoon? We'll call some day.
Give our love to all and we sure do miss you. Love, Mom and Dad
